A pretty frustating session really. I got to the beach at around 7am, checked the wind on top of the pebbles and it was reading 18-22 knots so I rigged my 5.7m and Hifly and got out there.

I did manage to get going, but only just, and although I had a few good runs, more often than not I ended up with great big clumps of weed around my fin.

I checked the wind again when I got out of the water and it was still registering 18-22 knots on top of the pebbles, which I suppose only translates to about 18 knots on the water, which obviously wasn't enough for that board and sail combination. If my bigger board wasn't out of service then it would have been a good session, but as it was it wasn't great.
